Ajumma Attack

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “ajumma” it literally means a woman who is old enough to be married. In the context above, I am referring to a specific group of ajummas that are fiesty and love to wear visors or flower print. They are truly one of my favorite things about South Korea, and I do not say that with even a hint of sarcasm.  They are tough, resourceful, and don’t seem to bend to the Confucian idea of women being submissive. I could go on and on about how great they are but that’s a whole other post entirely.
